The Drop By

Ladies you may attribute my absence to the stability of dating one man.  Once the cream rises to the top, the crazy is left behind.  I have traded humor for monogamy.

Birthday Bachelor has met several milestones in the last month.  BB has provided me with first big surprise, he bought us Patti LaBelle tickets for January (signaling we will be together in January).

He has cooked me dinner at his place (he worked really hard on it); we played Spades as partners (we killed the competition), I have met all of his closest friends (I received stunning reviews);  we took another trip to Charlotte for a date night, he attended a work event with me, and last night he performed the classic drop by.

The drop by allows you to see how someone keeps their house, their hair, and their breath in one swoop.  Most importantly you get to see if they have any side action going.  I had The Lord on my side last night.  I had just gotten my hair done as well as a mani pedi on the way home from work.  In addition, I had purchased my favorite candles and the house smelled great.  I am sure I passed inspection.

As an old school player myself I respect the drop in.  You appear spontaneous and caring while conducting a surprise inspection.  It is important to mark your territory!   I will also say I must like this guy because I let him visit and chat well past a new episode of "Scandal."
